Advisory That Sells: Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to your purchase of Advisory That Sells (the Programme) from Kilimanjaro Nominees Pty Ltd (ACN 164 837 414) as trustee for MFP Trading Trust, trading as Modern Firm Practices (we, us or our). By completing your purchase you agree to them.

What the Programme is

Advisory That Sells is a six-week online training programme: six live sessions of 90 minutes each, held weekly and delivered online via Zoom.

The content and running order may be adjusted between sessions in response to what the group needs.

Session dates and times for the cohort you are joining are set out on the registration page and confirmed by email.

Who can attend

Your purchase covers up to two people from the same firm. Your place is not transferable to another firm. If a second person from your firm is attending, provide their name and email address so they can be added.

Payment

The fee is payable in full at the time of purchase.

Firms in Australia are billed in Australian dollars plus GST. Firms in New Zealand are billed in New Zealand dollars. Firms in any other country are billed in Australian dollars.

A tax invoice can be provided on request.

Refunds

Attend the first two sessions. If the Programme is not what you expected, tell us in writing before the third session begins and we will refund your fee in full.

Once the third session has begun, the fee is non-refundable.

Nothing in these terms excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Sessions you miss

Every session is recorded and made available to you. Being unable to attend a live session does not entitle you to a refund, a partial refund, or a transfer to a later cohort.

Recordings and materials

Recordings, templates, worksheets and any other materials provided are licensed to you for use within your own firm. You may use them with your own clients in the course of your practice.

You must not share, resell, publish, distribute or make them available outside your firm, and you must not use them to deliver competing training.

Changes we may need to make

If we need to move a session, we will give you as much notice as we reasonably can, and the session will be rescheduled or recorded and provided to you.

If a cohort does not reach a viable number of firms, we may postpone it to a later date or cancel it. If that happens you may either move to the later cohort or take a full refund. If we cancel the Programme before it begins for any other reason, you will receive a full refund.

The Programme is training, not advice

The Programme is general professional training. It is not accounting, financial, legal or tax advice, and it does not take into account the circumstances of your firm or of your clients. You remain solely responsible for the services you provide to your clients, for the fees you charge them, and for meeting your own professional, regulatory and licensing obligations.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, business or opportunity, arising from the Programme. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total liability is limited to the fee you paid.

Privacy

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
